I have learned in my travels that many who live West of the Mississippi, never venture out to the East Coast.  Those that do find that many people on the East Coast are in a hurry to go everywhere and have difficultly with the more relaxed pace of our West Coast counterparts.  That being said, there is a certain “something” about living here that makes Mainers Kindred Spirits to Mid-Westerners. In a word- Serenity.

The magical island of Islesboro on the Mid-Coast of Maine is one of the few unspoiled places left within the United States. A community accessible by ferry from the Mainland, where simplicity is key & riches aren’t only counted in dollar bills. A place where everyone waves to say hello and the teens gather at the Community Center to play ping pong or air hockey on the weekends. Because of its somewhat remote location, upon its 14 miles of shoreline can be found some of the most exquisite Sea Glass. The plethora of colors range from Cloud White to Midnight Black, from Cobalt Blue to Olive Green, from Lilac Purple to Crimson Red….just to name a few. We offer many colors in bulk lots or specialty sets in a variety of sizes- from about a dime (great for mosaics & small jewelry) to a few inches in length (pendants & focal pieces).
